Recent scientific studies have revealed some interesting facts about microfiber. One study by the US Environment Protection Agency found microfibers reduce the need for chemical use and disposal since they are designed to clean any surface using just plain water. "Whether washing or drying with these towels, the microfiber actually lifts dirt and other particles, reducing the needs for chemicals and saving labor and time" said Spiller.
