2 File Configuration
Entrec owns a goldhofer hydraulic platform trailer that is designed to be assembled in multiple configurations of either lines or files using 2, 3, 4 and 6 modularized axle line sections for any specific requirement. A typical configuration for most module transport is 2 file configurations. Goldhofer space decks can accommodate from 30 feet to 150 feet in length and width of about 22 feet. If combined with Entrec’s customizable trailers, efficiency can be achieved using fewer axles plus maximizing equipment availability.
3 or more Configuration
Goldhofer hydraulic platform is also capable of configuring 3 and 4 file configurations reducing the cost in equipment needed. These configurations can transport large scale vessel such as oil sands, natural gas and process plant scope requirements. These platform trailers have the capacity to self-load and unload equipment.
On Site Logistical Support
Entrec provides on-site logistical and equipment support including on-site inventory prior to transportation. Self-Propelled Modular Transporters or SPMT are offered complete with engineering and manpower support. It is recommended for over-dimensional and overweight on-site transportation requirements.
In the past, Entrec’s hydraulic trailers were able to move a 180 ton, 70 ft. by 40 ft. Jet Fuel Storage Tank using 4-file hydraulic trailers. To facilitate this large scale transport, Entrec was able to shut down Edmonton International runway to make the process smooth and efficient. Among its ground breaking transportation feat includes moving an oil sand facility with dimensions of 30 ft. width by 300 ft. in length and total weight of 872,000 pounds. Another one was moving a 2-storey dormitory measuring 125 ft. height by 24 for width and 25 ft. height without any scratches.
A few months back, Entrec was reported to spend a total of C$46 million this year as capital expenditure program dedicated primarily on mounting its mobile crane competencies where C$34 million of which is committed for growth capital expenditure and C$12 million for maintenance.
