    Interview with Robert Bakke

(Transportation-News.com, January 19, 2015 ) San Francisco, CA -- Recounting how a formerly insecure, 98-pound weakling defied odds, ridicule and his own physical limitations to transform himself into a black belt, NASCAR racer and jet pilot, Robert Bakke has just released a video interview for his new Amazon best-selling book "Prayer at Full Throttle: How Performance-Based Prayers Make Miracles Happen."

Robert defines performance-based prayer as prayer backed by corresponding action. In his new video interview, Robert discusses how performance-based prayer helped him earn a black belt in karate, realize his dream of racing NASCAR, and rise in the corporate ranks after college in order to end up running a multi-million dollar company by the age of 24.

In the interview, Robert discusses how he self-published his book, which became a best seller on Amazon in 3.5 weeks and achieved global television publicity within 4.5 months (he has asked Guinness World Records to check their books to see if this is a new record). Robert also offers advice to struggling authors who can't get publishing agents to talk to them.

Robert Bakke is on a mission to rebuke the notion that it is now the norm for people to live a life that is not true to themselves. He states in the interview, "Unfortunately, we're so driven by fear...the fear of what other people think. We get so caught up watching what other people are doing: how are they reacting to us, what are they driving, what are they wearing, what are they going to study in college? And we never stop to think that other people are just as afraid of what we think about them as we are worried about what they think about us."

Robert presents his own accomplishments as proof that the American Dream is alive and well and can be achieved by anyone willing to roll up their sleeves and "get in the game." Robert advises, "If people would just be courageous enough to believe in themselves and the person they were created to be and have the faith to move forward and get to work, all those things that they see for their lives [are possible]."

Prayer at Full Throttle is available on Amazon in paperback, hardcover and Kindle.
