(Transportation-News.com, February 06, 2015 ) Vancouver, BC -- Vehicular Technologies announced today that its fourth quarter earnings were better than expected for one of its flagship products. For the final months of the year, including the major shopping period prior to Christmas, Michael Blackmore, the company's co-founder and spokesman, stated that the firm recorded its highest quarterly earnings in its history.
"We listened to our customers, and therefore increased the size of our Guzzling Giant drying towel--and they definitely loved the bigger size," Said Blackmore. "Nine square feet of high quality high tech microfiber towel seems to have met with approval."
Although the company declined to release exact figures, Blackmore said he was pleased with the sales volume increase, and looking forward to even bigger growth in 2015.
Vehicular Technologies designs and creates environmentally friendlier, and technologically advanced products that are less harmful to our environment. It uses the latest manufacturing techniques, which results in a microfiber cloth that absorbs water much better than traditional leather chamois or cotton rags, claims the firm's website.
Blackmore also committed to continuing the company's partnership with Amazon's massive network of fulfillment centers throughout the United States. "We have been more than pleased," he said. "This year the Christmas shopping rush was handled much better than the previous year, and our customers got very fast shipping in spite of the snow."
With the major shopping season of the year now over, Blackmore said he is planning to roll out more of the company's products using the direct-to-consumer model as epitomized by Amazon. He would not give an exact date, but estimated that new products would be available in time for Father's Day or sooner.
