Introducing DTC LifeTools, a new company launched on June 4, 2013 by two brothers from Mid-Missouri. Don and Terry Carter created DTC LifeTools with one primary purpose in mind; to equip people for unanticipated emergencies and events.
Terry Carter states, "Being an over-the-road truck driver for 20 years in Europe and now 15 back home in the USA, I have seen all sorts of tragic events. I'm happy to be part of something that can play a major role in the outcome of these situations."
Don adds, "We chose the safety and survival industry because we wanted to do something together that can really make a difference. Helping people be prepared by providing safety, rescue, and escape tools designed specifically for emergencies fits that purpose very well."
DTC LifeTools launches with two such tools in stock and more tools currently under development:
The AutoSafe LifeTool is a digital tire gauge with back-lit LED readout, emergency escape hammer with seatbelt cutter, various multi-tools such as flat & phillips-head screwdrivers, ultra-bright flashlight, light-duty pliers and scissors.
The LightSafe LifeTool boasts the same set of stainless steel emergency car kit tools. The difference being that the LightSafe tool has an ultra-bright LED flashlight and flashing red LED torchlight opposite the multitools, instead of a digital tire gauge as on the AutoSafe LifeTool.
