(Transportation-News.com, June 09, 2013 ) San Francisco, CA -- A Lehigh Valley company specializing in transportation and logistics is looking to create 258 new jobs in order to expand the BioPharma services.
YourWay Transport Inc is of the Allentown area, and is renovating its own facility in order to create expansion opportunity for a BioPharma service that will allow for delivery of clinical trial services. The announcement was made by Gulam Jaffer president of YourWay.
"The new facility will significantly increase our ability to service the clinical trial material supply chain," Jaffer said in a press release this morning. "We look forward to a continued partnership with the commonwealth as we continue to grow our business in the Lehigh Valley."
YourWay is currently set to invest over $11.5 million for the purpose of renovations , infrastructure, improvements, as well as new equipment.
According to the press release issued by the company, it will receive funding from the state Department of Community and Economic Development. That tally will be included with the over $350,000 from the Pennsylvania First grant, over half a million in funding from the Job Creation Tax Credits, as well as $116,100 coming from the Guaranteed Free Training Program, which is to be utilized for skills training for employees.
The company is now set to receive a $1.75 million loan for the Machine and Equipment Loan Fund for its efforts.
