The PrimeEffects Screaming Banshee Air Horn was developed by motorcycle riders for motorcycle riders, with advanced security features built in. Made specifically for motorcycles, the new Screaming Banshee Air Horn fits easily and connects to the existing horn. If desired it can replace the existing horn, or it can be installed as an additional horn.
"We wanted to make our Air Horn small, simple and loud," says Mister Jepsen. If installed as an additional horn the operation of the Air Horn is incorporated as part of the existing horn system. A short press of the horn button uses the normal horn. If depressed and held the Air Horn activates with variable sound, and at the same time flashes the high beams, further increasing visibility.
"Sound is measured in decibels," says Mister Jepsen. "This little horn can kick out a hundred-and-thirty decibels, which is amazing. How loud is that? Appreciating the volume of sound is best done with a comparison, and for comparison consider this: A military fighter plane taking off from a carrier deck at full power makes about a hundred-and-thirty decibels from fifty feet away. In essence, this little horn is as loud as a fighter jet."
