(Transportation-News.com, June 17, 2015 ) CANYON COUNTY – A Caldwell resident is dead after she lost control of her car around 3:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
18-year-old Ashlynn Husak was traveling north on Notus Road with two passengers in her vehicle when she was distracted. She lost control of her 2004 Toyota Corolla near a curve. The car landed on it’s topside and then rolled in to a canal.
Husak died from her injuries at the hospital.
28-year-old John Alger of Caldwell and 22-year-old Kimber Cheney of Greenleaf – the passengers in the vehicle – were taken to West Valley Medical Center.
Their conditions are currently unknown.
Investigators are still investigating the crash.
