(Transportation-News.com, September 29, 2015 ) Las Vegas, NV -- In 1985, Back to the Future molded a technologically utopia of a future, where time-travel was not only well and truly invented, but was well and truly successful. Whilst time travel is not quite at its peak in the current time zone, one other huge part of the film has almost completely taken over the modern society: recycling and saving the planet.
To mark the anniversary of the film, whereby a trash-fueled car/time machine rules the roads and the time periods, NBC Universal Entertainment Japan has teamed up with Jeplan, a Japanese recycling technology firm, to drive a trash-fueled car through the streets of Tokyo.
"This is a fantastic idea!" exclaimed Neil Speight, co-founder of car accessory brand, Freddie and Sebbie.
